The Karakol Gorge is saturated with wild berries, briar, flowers, and lush meadow grass. As the elevation of the land increases, these are replaced by spruce and juniper trees. Wildlife in the Karakol Gorge includes lynx, wolves, eagles, bears, goats, wild boar, and the endangered snow leopard.
